Yum-o's, Rock of Love Bus & the Clemson Tigers

I don't know about you but I LOVE to make my own food.  Even more then I like eating out at a great new restaurant.  Ok hey, I love food, we know this.  One great thing about living with Kyle is that we LOVE to try new food and cook together. Over the last few days we've concocted our own "surf & turf" dinner for New Years Eve to my very own all-natural trail mix.  Email me for the recipe!  Tonight we mad some Ahi Tuna and Asian Slaw.  In the words of Rachel Ray, "Yum-O!"  Thank you to my Aunt who gave me the Sandra Lee 20-minute meals cookbook where I picked up some of those choices.

Take a look at our New Year's Eve din-din:

(Yes that is a bottle of wine actually called "Bitch", I couldn't resist)

So onto my VH1 celebrity reality sleaze. Not sure if you degrade yourself to the horror that is Rock of Love, but I happened to catch the new season called "Rock of Love Bus"...Degressing...I really just want to see if they'll do some shooting when he came to Niagara Falls this year.  (Any way to see Buffalo on national TV, I'll do it)  During commercials I noticed that they are going to be premiering a TV show called "Tool Academy".  Now this show looks hilarious.  It's a bunch of typical guys who you would normally consider a 'tool'.  (Think "New Haircut" guy)  who basically go to rehab for "douchebags".  Classic.

After mass this afternoon Kyle and I decided to go old school and take a Sunday drive.  We ended up driving south to Clemson.  Now you would have to be really living under a rock to not know that there are only two teams you root for each college football season down here.  It's either the Clemson Tigers or USC...not THE USC but the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.  Clemson was cute.  Huge campus and lots of orange and these paw prints, EVERYWHERE!:

Cute!

So tomorrow starts the intense job search.  I've been looking, networking and applying for a few weeks now but nothing beats finding a job when you are actually in the location.   Fingers crossed!

I love the rock of love. Seriously. Best hour and a half of TV I watched all day yesterday. When I watch it, I can just forget all about my own problems and think "man, Bret has his hands full with those girls." Usually his hands are full of jugs, but whatever.

Haha...so true! So much of that sleezy reality TV just takes me away for a little while. Hey at least that way were not taking our stress out on people we care about, that way everyone wins! Even Bret Michaels. PS Did you see he's handing out an engagement ring this season!?!?! OH THE DRAMA!

We should create a website that allows you to sign-up a guy for the 'Tool Academy.' We all know one (or two or three).
